Unified Expands Product Line
Published on: January 10th, 1999 By: Steven DiMare

Unified Windows, Doors and Siding announced the takeover of Secura-Seal Doors by The Accu-Weld Group. The takeover of the 50,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Pennsauken, NJ will mean a much larger line of steel doors as well as many new color options and hardware choices. The plant has just been increased in size to handle the overwhelming demand for the top-rated doors and Unified is expecting to have the Hempstead showroom updated by April.

The unique system that allows the Unified door system to lock into a steel frame has driven sales up almost 300% in the past 2 years. The doors also boast a special baked-on painted finish now available in 28 colors.

According to a spokesperson at Unified, “The owners Steven DiMare and Richard Nardi are always looking to expand the product line to please more of our customers.” In 1998, the company enjoyed yet another huge jump in sales (over 25%) which it attributes to customer satisfaction.

Unified’s showroom is open 7 days a week and staffed by more than ten employees. The 2000 square foot showroom has enough room to show full-size samples of every item. It has double hungs, sliders, casements, bays and bows, walls of siding, awnings, and over 25 doors. The showroom is located at 299 Peninsula Blvd. in Hempstead Village or you can call them for a free estimate at (516) 481-3000. The Unified website atwww.unifiedwindows.com
