Steven M. DiMare represents the second generation of leadership at Unified Home Remodeling, continuing the family company’s legacy while helping expand and modernize one of New York’s most recognized exterior remodeling brands.

As CEO and President of Unified Home Remodeling, Steven oversees company operations, marketing, customer experience, quality assurance, and long-term growth throughout Long Island, New York City, Westchester, and the surrounding New York region. His leadership combines hands-on industry experience with a modern understanding of branding, communication, and homeowner education.

Raised in Rockville Centre, New York, Steven grew up surrounded by the home remodeling industry through his father, Steven J. DiMare, and multiple family members who worked within the construction and home improvement field. From an early age, he learned the business through direct experience, hands-on training, and exposure to the day-to-day operations of a family-owned remodeling company.

Steven graduated near the top of his class from South Side High School, earning an International Baccalaureate diploma before attending the University of Michigan. There, he earned an honors bachelor’s degree with dual majors in marketing and psychology, along with minors in global media studies, digital studies, and entrepreneurship.

Learning the Remodeling Industry From the Ground Up

Long before stepping into an executive role, Steven worked throughout nearly every major department within Unified Home Remodeling.

He began in the warehouse learning materials, logistics, and operational systems before progressing into quality control, project oversight, sales, marketing coordination, and leadership roles within the company.

This hands-on background gave him practical experience with:

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Steven formally transitioned into a larger leadership role within Unified, progressing from marketing coordinator to Vice President before ultimately stepping into the role of CEO and President.

Under Steven’s leadership, Unified has continued evolving into a more modern, marketing-driven, and community-focused company while maintaining the family-oriented values the business was originally built upon.

He also played a major role in helping transition the company from Unified Window Systems into Unified Home Remodeling, reflecting the company’s expansion into full exterior remodeling services, including roofing, siding, masonry, doors, and structural exterior renovations.

Steven played a major role in helping Unified evolve into a more recognizable and community-focused brand through educational content, digital outreach, homeowner resources, and a stronger online presence across the remodeling industry.

At the same time, his hands-on experience within the company helped maintain the operational side of the business, from installation quality and project oversight to customer communication and long-term service standards.

Today, Steven continues leading a company that combines decades of remodeling experience with a forward-looking approach to homeowner education, technology, and exterior remodeling solutions.

Under Steven’s leadership, Unified continues to maintain relationships with nationally recognized manufacturers and organizations throughout the exterior remodeling industry, including Owens Corning, CertainTeed, Andersen, ProVia, and ENERGY STAR.

Steven has also helped Unified continue earning recognition connected to installation quality, manufacturer certifications, customer satisfaction, and homeowner trust throughout New York.

In 2026, Steven was recognized by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce as part of its Young Professionals 30 Under 30 recognition program.

He currently leads a team with more than 100 years of combined experience within the home improvement industry.

As the son of Unified founder Steven J. DiMare, Steven continues carrying forward a company built on accountability, professionalism, and long-term customer relationships.

His leadership reflects both the traditional values on which the company was founded and a forward-looking approach centered around education, communication, operational growth, and homeowner trust.
